Taylor McPherson brings a background in healthcare and hands-on client service to his role as a Medicare Sales Agent at Elite Insurance Partners. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Taylor now lives in Springhill, Florida, and earned his Associate of Arts in Business Management from St. Petersburg College in 2020. He started his career as a licensed pharmacy technician, working the pharmacy counter through the height of COVID, before moving into outpatient radiology offices around Springhill. Those years spent helping people navigate their insurance day to day led him naturally into this industry, and he is working toward stepping into a more educational, team leading role as his career grows.
Taylor is the first person on his mom’s side of the family to graduate college, a milestone he does not take lightly, and he credits his drive to a friend’s family who took him in and asked for nothing in return during a hard stretch before college. That kindness is what motivates him now: he wants to be in a position to do the same for someone else without asking anything back.
Outside of work, you will usually find him on his motorcycle on a Sunday, in the kitchen (he has handled the family’s Thanksgiving cooking for years), or showing off a card trick as the resident amateur magician. He and his dogs and cats are hoping a house with a yard is not too far down the road.
