Erik Soderstrom is a Medicare Sales Agent at Elite Insurance Partners, bringing a background in political campaigning and personal lines insurance to his work with clients. Originally from Cramerton, North Carolina, Erik began his career in politics, managing operations across six counties in North Carolina and helping elect a U.S. Senator before working in political advocacy and, later, for a SuperPAC during the 2016 presidential election. Looking for more stability, he moved into insurance with GEICO, where he was promoted multiple times and became responsible for selling the company’s full range of personal lines products, before relocating to Oldsmar, Florida for a fresh opportunity and to be closer to friends in the Tampa area.
Over the past two years Erik has focused heavily on self improvement, finding mentors who have accelerated his growth and helped him lose around 70 pounds in the past six months alone.
Despite an active social media presence, Erik describes himself as an introvert who is far more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it, which fits his passion for photography. Outside of work, he also enjoys sport shooting.
