Cora Leggett is a Medicare Sales Agent at Elite Insurance Partners with nearly two decades of experience in the Medicare insurance industry. A Tampa native, she got her start in Medicare customer service in 2006 before earning her 215 Life, Health and Annuities license through the Florida School of Insurance in 2007, and has since worked in retention, sales, and management. During the 2023 AEP season, Cora earned the Pinnacle Award for ranking in the top 3% of the company in sales, and after being promoted into management, she won the award again as a supervisor for leading the number one sales team in her department.
Cora is motivated in large part by her own parents, who are on Medicare themselves. Their experience drives her to give every senior she works with the same care and attention she gives her own family when helping them choose the right coverage. She is also driven by her children and her partner, who she says believes in her and looks at her like a hero.
Outside of work, Cora has turned her love of decorating cakes into a side business, and when she is not in the kitchen, she can often be found at the range, since she is a self-described gun enthusiast who enjoys sports shooting.
