Workplace culture is important at Elite Insurance Partners. We care about our employees and want them to enjoy working here. It’s one of our core values, along with caring about our clients and their healthcare and giving back to the community.
As our company continues to grow, we don’t want to lose sight of those values. And that’s why we’re especially honored to be recognized as one of the best workplaces in the country AND one of the fastest growing companies in Florida’s Tampa Bay area.
Elite Insurance Partners has been named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the Best Workplaces in America in 2019. EIP and the other finalists are featured in the June issue of Inc.’s print magazine, and in a prominent article on Inc.com.
Inc.’s annual list identifies private companies that have exceptional workplaces with vibrant cultures, strong employee engagement, and outstanding benefits. Inc. collected data on almost 2,000 companies, but only 346 of them were selected for the list. EIP is one of only two small insurance companies named.
“We are beyond honored to be recognized as one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces for 2019,” said Jagger Esch, EIP’s CEO, and co-founder. “Our organization’s goal has always been to have a great company culture. We care about our employees as well as our clients. Creating a work environment that mirrors this is essential. We are ecstatic to continue to grow our team this year as one of the Best Workplaces in 2019.”
To be eligible for the list, employers had to be based in the U.S., have at least 10 employees, be privately owned, and not be a subsidiary of a larger company. Nominees participated in an employee survey that covered a broad range of topics such as trust, the effectiveness of the management team, employee perks, and employees’ confidence in the future. After analyzing and auditing the data, Inc. ranked the employers using a composite survey score.
EIP’s quantum score was 96.1, reflecting an extremely high level of employee engagement. EIP employees overwhelmingly said they have access to career development opportunities, find it fun to work at EIP and feel valued by senior leaders.
“With today’s tight labor market, building a great corporate culture is more important than ever,” says Inc.magazine editor in chief James Ledbetter. “The companies on Inc.’s Best Workplaces list are setting an example that the whole country can learn from.”
We also earned the best places to work by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, you can read about that in our May roundup.
EIP was also named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50—a yearly list of the 50 fastest growing companies in Tampa Bay.
To be eligible for the list, companies must be privately held, for-profit, and based in the Tampa Bay area. Minimum revenue must have been $1 million in 2016 or $5 million in 2018.
The companies on the list come from a wide variety of industries, and collectively they increased their revenues by 78 percent—or $2.8 billion combined—from 2016 to 2018. They employ a total of 8.397 employees, with 4094 of them in the Tampa Bay area.
Our company made a big move this month, but I’m going to wait until next months roundup to share the details!
